I planned my script in order to contribute to my part in the

going to include in the task (The mass brawl between school students).
I edited the preliminary task and cut the bits out we didn’t need
from the preliminary task using audacity.
I also inserted the news jingle that we chose as a group and added in
the fade ins and fade outs.

On the 8th of December I filmed the female version of our
audience profile. I was in charge of deciding who our target audience female
was and was in charge of recording with the camera.
On the 12th we uploaded the footage onto the iMac in
school and started to edit the footage, cutting out the scenes that we don’t
need.
On the 15th we recorded our audio to the audience profile
and edited it in to the video.
On the 16th we added music and completed our audience
profile video.

Chosen clip from my interview
I edited out the long pauses and irrelevant things that I believe my target audience doesn't need to listen to or any parts that won't benefit them in any way. This is my chosen clip because it answers all the questions that I asked the child support worker in one go and it summarises it all.
Re-Attempt At Recording My Interview
From this second attempt at recording the interview with the child support worker, Debbie Townsend, I have improved a lot of things within the recording.
I have used a dictaphone instead of my own phone to record the interview this time round. This led to the interviewee and interviewer's voices to be clearer than before and less muffled. The dictaphone's mic is omnidirectional, allowing the voices to be clear and well heard.
Furthermore, I introduced my self, my story and where I am from at the beginning because my target audience feedback said to do this to make my recording better.
Also, her answers to my questions were more simp lied, summarised and clearer.
What I learnt from the interview:
There are many places to go to help when you are grieving or if you have lost a loved one. For example, the school that you attend may provide extra support academically, physically and emotionally.
Also, if you are going through a rough time, you shouldn't keep it in and keep it to yourself because telling someone else or someone you trust, like a friend or teacher, may help to relieve some tress and anxiety that you have.

VFX FESTIVAL
I went with Noshin to the VFX festival to help her record.
I was holding the microphone whilst she was doing her role as the outside reporter for the outside broadcast.
By doing this, I achieved to get a clear omnidirectional sound of Joseph (the person we interviewed).

Update: List of sources
Child support worker - what support they have available for students/children going through a rough time like losing someone close to them.
Students - how do they feel about the school and the loss of loved ones.
Television news broadcasts - what information do they already know and have published that I can use.
Internet websites such as news websites - what information do they already know and have published that I can use.
NHS - perhaps they have something that can help with people who are not coping well with the loss of loved ones.
These all link within the genre of my story as well as the narrative

Trip to Berlin
On the 3rd of February 2017 I went on a trip to Berlin, Germany.
During the trip we visited the Berlin Film Museum and a Television Studio. I gained a lot of skills, knowledge and experience from this trip. In the Berlin Film Museum we learnt about the history of film and how it has adapted. We learnt about the different editing techniques and CGI that has developed since the start of films.
In the TV Studio, our tour guide, Christina, taught us about the history of television and the industry, and I learnt how there was a time where nobody really watched TV because of the War that happened. Furthermore we learnt about how green screens and blue screens can be used in order to create an artificial atmosphere to suit the type of programme that you are creating. The TV studio we went to is the second largest television studio in Berlin. There are thousands of cameras which are hung from the ceiling when recording a live show which capture every angle and composition of screen. I learnt that live shows don't fully go onto air directly, they go on a few seconds later because hundreds of editors are sitting at their seats waiting to crop out something inappropriate that and audience member or host might say. The editors have a large separate room and have different types of controls everywhere. They can cut off a scene of the camera and stop one recording if they want to.
We also learnt that shows that are based in the studio are not a real place. Most of the mise-en-scene is created out of wood or cardboard and there is a secret alleyway that the audience members have to come through.

Asking a professional journalist for tips on my story
This interview with the journalist helped me develop skills and understanding in order to be a professional reporter. I found out the conventions of a human interest story - which is what my story is about. I can use these conventions in my final product. The tips she gave will also help me to improve the content of my story and how I produce it as a whole. It has been a beneficial experience.

Production Group Logo
This is our Logo for our radio news station. I was given the task of being in charge of designing the logo for our group. It is called Flash News, with the slogan "giving you your news in a flash". We chose this slogan because we wanted it to be short, catchy and related to our logo. It also gives an idea about our radio news station to people; they will know that our news stories / headlines will be quick and flashy. The reason why I used the lighting sign for the 'S' in"Flash" was to represent how quickly our radio news station can provide it's audience with information about recent evens and information. The font is in "AR JULIAN" and it is in the colour black. My aim for the logo was to make it look formal as well as attractive and memorable, which is why I used a simple readable font and colour.
As a group, we decided that this was a good idea and discussed the positives and negatives about this Logo. A negative for example, would be that you can't print the logo on yellow paper otherwise the flash sign would not show. However the positives over-ruled the negatives as we hardly found any other negatives, and therefore decided that this logo was perfect for our radio news station.
